Disadvantages
Milk Paint becomes very hard making it highly durable and equally difficult to remove. It is susceptible to water and has to be sealed. Limited or no color matching. Not locally available?
Advantages
Durable, won’t fade, cheap, biodegradeable, non-toxic though the lime ingredient by itself is dangerous, shipped as a water mixable powder, textured classic look. Ingredients, except untreated milk, are readily available.
Possibilities
Some Milk Painted structures have last hundreds of years. Perhaps sealed milk painted wood might be a good eco friendly covering for wood exposed to the elements.
